The concept of Karma (the nature of our deeds will affect the nature of our fate) is believed by many people in different cultures. A huge number of stories have been retold about Karma.
What goes around, comes around is one of Thai proverbs used to teach that when we do good deeds, we will receive good in return. Conversely, if we do something bad, we will experience ill-fortune.
Thai Proverb Tale from Khunkha Magazine proudly presents the tale about Karma. Let’s read this tale together.

One day in the early afternoon, a lazy young man was hanging around a jewelry store in town. Looking through the glass counter, he saw a lot of shiny golden rings and other gold jewelry. Suddenly, his greediness was triggered.
“Perhaps just steal only one tiny ring, nobody would notice,” as soon as the man was thinking, he got a chance when the owner was taking care of the other customer.
And right away, he quickly grabbed one ring and slipped it inside his pants’ pocket. Then he turned around and walked out of the store.
Late afternoon, with that precious ring in his pocket, that young man happily walked out of the town until he was near a big pond. “Oh! It’s a very hot day and there’s nobody here at all. I should really just relax for a while,” he said to himself.
Within a moment, that lazy young man took all of his clothes off and left his clothes with a stolen ring under the big tree. Then he jumped into the pond and swam around the crystal-clear water. “Wow…it’s really, really good!” the young man uttered happily.
Before long, a little boy happened to walk along the shore of the pond. When he came close to that big tree, he suddenly saw something. “Oh! Somebody must have left his stuff behind. Fine…I’ll take it home,” that little boy quickly grabbed everything and walked away without anyone’s notice.
Karma caught up to that lazy young man quickly!
